Our deepest condolences to the Mrs. Battersby and the entire Battersby family. Your son Brian has been a friend of mine since first grade at Holy Trinity. I have fond memories of Mr. Battersby from Holy Trinity and the Central Falls Little League. My hope for the family is that they will remember him fondly for the time and effort that he spent raising his children.
Imagine spending 50 years of your life with your wife, working, raising children, supporting them as they grow, incorporating grandchildren into your family and continuing to love your wife unconditionally........that's the kind of man Mr. Battersby was. Fortunately, I see the same character traits in his sons. God Bless all of you during this most difficult time.
